Bobbi Manian took a photo of a diminutive shaded head gull at the Owls Head Transfer or Sanitation Treatment center this afternoon that might be a Franklin's Gull. To get the best views of gull hanging above the soupy pools, one must stand on the slope of Owls Head Park southwest slope facing the station. Owls Head Park n the station is along the Belt Parkway at around Bay Ridge Avenue in Brooklyn.
The Veterans Pier is another vantage point that is the ending of Bay Ridge Avenue
