- Comments: "**Rare for county, but somewhat expected annually in date range and context. Brief, distant and backlit view of a long winged and thin tailed raptor. Immediately tried to document, and by overexposing was able to bring out enough detail in the underside to show a pale head, gray throat/chest and unpatterned underwings with darker secondaries. Most importantly, the very short outer primaries are visible in the images (were not in life). Entire observation less than 10 seconds. Bird was moving quickly past my vantage in a NNE direction, dove behind a tree and disappeared."
