Tuesday's action

Today I was told was a good day ( unfortunately for me working) with the focus on flycatchers , Mourning warblers and days end Mississippi Kite.

On the path above the Well house or south slope Lookout Hill a calling Yellow bellied Flycatcher gives away its presence. Another was reported in the Lullwater.

Staying with Empid flycatchers , an Acadian Flycatcher makes an impression on the north slope of Lookout , calling out as well near the Maryland Monument stairs.

Late birds Pine Warbler and Eastern Bluebird are sticking around , seen in Prospects Falkill Falls area and Greenwood Cemetery South Wood Ave by Vista and Oakwood avenues, respectively.

But the most pursued warbler of late is the Mourning Warbler; for such a gorgeous I would drop everything to see it. One was spotted along the east path from Prospects North GAP entrance towards the Rose Garden of the Vale cashmere; another seen past the Boathouse towards the Carousel and a third at Greenwoods weeping beeches of Larch Ave.

But leave it to the end of day for the continual kite parade. While the lucky birder Sara was hoping to see a Mississippi Kites ,lo and behold one did ! Just past 6 pm , a Miki was seen flying Over prospects Long Meadow.
