Subject: Thursday Walk
Hi Peter,
It was a beautiful day today, cool, dry and with a slight breeze. It seemed that a lot of birds had been swept out of the park last night, but there were some remaining small groups particularly in the southern end of the Park.
We ended up with 46 species. Highlights were a Sharp-shinned Hawk chasing after an American Kestrel, some very cooperative, low warblers including Cape May Warbler, Pine, Blackpoll, Magnolia and lots of Northern Parulas.
Here's the list. I'll post a couple of photos on the facebook site.
Best regards,
Tom
