Prospect , another hard freeze

The Lake refroze last night, but that didn't deterred 3 AMERICAN WIGEONS from coming in, the ducks first found on the Peninsula lawn edge by Karen O'hearn. Later, as I ventured over there, the three wigeons--2 drakes, one hen --were sleeping in the same general area on the ground at the lake edge by rescue ladder 19. No sign of the Mergansers.

On the Peninsula meadow edge as well, a nearby HERMIT THRUSH adds to among this days cold gems , early migrants in progress.
