Subject: Kings County. Good flight in Prospect Park From: Sean Sime <> Date: Fri, 3 Apr 2015 14:15:57 -0400 X-Message-Number: 4

During a quick walk through Prospect Park in Brooklyn this morning signs of migration were evident. While diversity was low it was really nice to see the number of individual birds increase substantially.

Yellow-shafted Flickers were flying north in numbers and the ballfields held large numbers of Dark-eyed Junco and a few Chipping Sparrows. A large influx of Golden-crowned Kinglets (6 yesterday almost 200 today) was noted as well. Other highlights included;

Winter Wren (3) Brown Creeper (3) Pine Warbler (6) Palm Warbler Fox Sparrow (2-3) Tree Swallow (6) Osprey Kingfisher

Cheers,
