Subject: BBC Prospect Park Walk today

Hi Peter,

We had a compact group of 10 today.. And it was really birdy...we had several single tree locations with 10+ species.

Warblers were in..we had 20 species including several Wilson's, Blackburnian, Prairie, Worm-eating between the ponds and the nethermead bridge, Blue-winged, Mourning (thanks to Bobbi). Four species of heron, just a few flycatchers but featuring Olive-sided amongst the myriad of pewees.
Several Scarlet Tanagers and one Rose-breasted Grosbeak.

Overall 72 species before we got rained out.

Best regards,
Tom
