On a previous post awhile ago, above went out about the Migratory Bird Treaty Act under threat with Congressman Duncan amendment that would forbid the US Justice Dept prosecuting wind energy companies violations.

Breaking news: A special THANK YOU to all of our supporters – together, we helped avert another attack on one of the most important federal laws protecting birds, the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.

Thanks to your support, Congressman Duncan withdrew his amendment to a spending bill that would have prohibited enforcement of the MBTA as well as the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act. But the work isn’t over.
