Subject: First Thursday Walk

Hi Peter,

Along with great weather, we had lots of birds in the park today.
In the north end there were lots of redstarts , other warblers and a couple of orioles, indicating a good flight last night.
We stayed so long there that we arrived a bit late in the day at Lookout, and missed the Golden-winged that Ed found. But otherwise we had a very good day.

Highlights included:
13 species of warblers (15 counting the Blackburnian and Blue-winged Eni had on the way to join the group...) including a very bright Canada (as well as a dull one), Prairie Warbler, several Chestnut-sided Warblers, Least Flycatcher (possible Olive-sided but we didn't get a good enough look to be sure...), Spotted Sandpiper, several Ruby-throated Hummingbirds, both waterthrush including a very bright Louisiana, and lots more.

I'll post a couple of pictures on the FB site.

Best regards,
Tom
