Prospect Monday starts off the week with the continuing COMMON MERGANSER and a nice surprise BALD EAGLE.
First seen on New Year's Day,the drake Merganser casually patrols the Lake from Duck Island to West Island cove.Its an unmistakable bird to spot with its white body and green head.
Dan Smith during his observation of the Merganser spotted a flyover Bald eagle over the Lake this morning. It was heading west, towards Greenwood Cemetery airspace.
Two Fox Sparrows spiced things up at the feeders with the usual winter avian visitors.
Otherwise,it's quiet Monday ,yet a few good birds to be glad seeing.
