A few scant reports from Prospect mostly just Lookout Hill though two birds spotted were quality species.
I was hoping for Warblers while standing watch at Butterfly Meadows Western edge. I saw very briefly an AMERICAN REDSTART that moved rather quickly . Then a bird flew to a low branch of the BBC donated Oak; immediately I recognized an empidonax flycatcher and a gorgeous YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER splashed by early sunrise gave me a great look before it took off towards Arleens Pines. Otherwise I didn't mind the lack of birds in other areas.
Reports on the Hill also mentioned an adult female
SUMMER TANAGER according to Gus. Ovenbird,Baltimore Oriole and Ruby Throated Hummingbird along the monument steps.
It's only August...
