Good boiding morrning in Prospect Lake

Early reports of the usual rarities continues in Prospect Lake.

During the morning both Mew Gull and Black headed Gull were seen on the ice what's left of it. Only at West Island and Pull water does ice remain. The New was spotted close to shore at West island rustic shelter.

On open water, good ducks are seen. Both Common Merganser- two reported hens- and 5 Ring necked ducks were seen.

Throw in the continuing Red throated Loon to boost the good morning.

On a side note, if you are venturing to go elsewhere, the drake  Eurasian Wigeon flew in at Bush Terminal Pier Park. It was spotted in the cove north of the parking lot.
