During this transitory time, a few typical species get noted.
Terry Kim reported Laughing Gull this afternoon , on Prospect Lake. We usually see this species by April first.
And reported by Kathy T passing outside my home , a Rusty Blackbird was seen at the Ravine Creek near Rocky Pass . Kathy mentions three Common Mergansers, two drakes and a hen, continuing this species long stay on the lake since January.
