Greenwood Cemetery saw its first spring season Wilson's Snipe this morning.
A quick flying snipe first reported at Sylvan Water was refound at Dellwater a short time later. This is peak period into early April when these secluded birds are found,so well camouflaged. Sometimes birders get lucky with a out in the open feeding bird.
Spring starts at 1133 am tomorrow and what's a welcome sight than bright Pine Warblers? One was found at Fort Greene Park today, singing as typically males do.
