Greenwood cemetery greatest year?

Greenwood cemetery has done it again! In what I think is the cemetery greatest year for quality rarity particular this fall, ANOTHER western vagrant found its way to this sacred hallowed grounds.

Rob Jeff, becoming among the elite birders at GWC found at the main entrance (5th Ave) a WESTERN KINGBIRD. After the spot the vagrant flew towards Sylvan Water. Despite efforts by birders point for it it was not relocated.

In good news for this Saturday's Christmas count the ASH THROATED FLYCATCHER is sticking around. The reported location was the Marginal Path opposite Valley Waters northwest shore. While Rob was tweeting the sighting, his walk attendees saw the flycatcher fly off over 5th avenue. We hope it's not gone for good after all this time at Greenwood.
