Hi, Peter. I did a solo circuit of the park this morning that covered the lake, peninsula, Lullwater, Lookout (quickly), ravine and pools. The peninsula was definitely the hotspot, but I also got some bonus sightings as I was leaving the park through the woods that run between Litchfield Villa and the maintenance yard: 2 male black throated blues (which had eluded me in the rest of the park), an ovenbird and a female rose-breasted grosbeak.
I saw two sandpipers perched on a rock across from Lakeside (by the new islands) that were definitely not spotted . . . I think solitary, but am not 100% sure. Hoping others saw as well.
Got a very nice look at a wood thrush in the ravine.
