See the Proposed Design for Greenpoint's Newest Waterfront Park
NYC Parks and NYC Economic Development Corporation (EDC) will be presenting a new design for Newtown Barge Park to the Community Board 1 Parks & Waterfront Committee at 6:30 p.m. this Thursday, January 8th. The meeting will be held at the Mary D'Angelis Housing conference room (a.k.a Dupont Street Senior Citizen Housing) at 80 Dupont Street in Greenpoint. The official meeting notice can be found here.
At the meeting, the Parks Department and EDC will present the new park design, followed by a public discussion of plans for the park. The meeting is expected to conclude with board members from the CB1 Parks & Waterfront Committee formulating a resolution to be voted upon at the upcoming meeting of the full Community Board on January 13th.
