I received a text message today from a non birding friend that photographers stepped off the path in pursuing the Painted Bunting.
I relayed this information to my office Horticulture supervisor in charge of that rink greenroof and I suggested she call PARK ENFORCEMENT PATROL (PEP) which she did.
If you see encroachment unto the ground off path with the prominent sign warning people not to, you will be seeing PEP on the scene. Be forewarned they will ticket.
