Louisiana Waterthrush (Parkesia motacilla) (1)
- Reported Jul 20, 2022 19:35 by Doug Gochfeld
- Brooklyn Bridge Park, Kings, New York

- Checklist: https://ebird.org/checklist/S115456189
- Comments: "**Scarce southbound migrant in NYC, though some scarcity may be attributed to its relatively early fall migration through this area, when birder coverage in appropriate wooded habitats is low. Detected because it was giving contact calls at dusk, and after that I had two brief sightings. Then it gave another bout of loud calling. Eastern edge if Pier 1, around the shaded pond along the main path, viewed from the small footbridge directly on the south side of that pond. No camera, but two audio recordings."
