Little Blue Heron

There appears to be an excursion of Little Blues around here as there's two reported today.

The longer staying Little Blue is at Greenwood Cemetery, a bird first reported at Sylvan Water. It moves on to the Dellwater.

Then a Little Blue shows up in Prospect Park, first seen over the Lake. A later report places the bird on the Peninsula across from Music Island.

A mostly coastal salt marsh heron,a double take in Greenwood and Prospect is unusual. But that's the fun about unexpected occurrences during migrations: where they land. 🐦
