Nothing fantastic reported today but for some birders, something is better than nothing.
At Greenwood Cemetery Dellwater, 7 Purple Finches were reported, all females except one.
I visited Governor's island today. During my time sauntering I ran into a birder named Loyan who alerted me about two Eastern Meadowlarks on Fort Jay's eastern slope area. I lucked out looking for them. 😕
I did get to see Ruby crowned kinglet, winter wren and a low fly out of a Sharpshinned Hawk in The Hills section. A lovely place to visit.
