Little parks ,big things

Three miles roughly seperate Owls Head and Brooklyn Bridge Park on Brooklyn's west coast.Yet both yield big sightings from time to time.

Owls Head continues to host an Ash-throated Flycatcher. From details the Flycatcher hangs out along the path that parallels the Belt Parkway, near the dog run.

Mean while to the north at Brooklyn Bridge Park two quality gulls were reported at Pier 1 pilings. A known winter roost, this late afternoon Both a juvenile Iceland Gull and an adult Lesser black backed Gull are good finds.
