Celebrating his 90th, legendary Brooklyn birder Ron Bourque's Birthday is today.
Ron was my first Brooklyn bird club walk leader ( to High Tor State Park) back around 1978 so it's a grand milestone for him today.
An icon and conservationist around Floyd Bennett Field and Marine Park, he and his wife Jean were editors if the BBC Clapper Rail newsletter back in the 60s thru 70s.
