Mondays good birds hung around breeze hill. Within a very short short ,If lucky, you could find pine warbler, purple finches, orange crowned warbler and Wilson's Warbler. That's quite a catch.
At the feeders, three purple finches- two males and a female - stayed put while a new warbler joined in among 4 usual of late: pine warbler. This bodes well for the upcoming Xmas count on Dec 14th.
From the feeders, take the road across the drive for the rink and you'll likely find orange crowned warbler along with it's companion Wilson's Warbler by the hairpin path turn ( this was last year's rufous hummingbird spot).
Yesterday a second orange crowned was spotted at the peninsula base at the edge of the lawn presumably close to the lake, perched up in the tree there. Saturday the common yellowthroat was next to the left shipping container on well drive.
Near there this morning by the picnic tables a birder reported a perched bald eagle atop a lookout Hill tree.
Rusty blackbirds this afternoon was seen flying over binnen bridge. It's likely they landed in Lily pool there.
