A most surprising find this morning,Forrest W found a drake Canvasback in the vincinity of Three Sisters Islands, the central South shore islands on Prospect Lake.
Several people saw this rarity ,including one whose snapshot of the duck showed it very close to shore,sitting on ice with so little open water.
Really a out of the blue discovery, rare for kings county.
