Little blue heron in Prospect

Possibly the best bird today in Prospect was the Little Blue Heron

Given it's rarity inland ,this immature bird was found by Brian Fox at Music Island . Throughout the day it moves about along the Lull water between the Peninsula and mainland, alighting on trees and at phrgamite edges.

At late afternoon. The Little Blue flew the coop.

The three great elemental sounds in nature are the sound of rain, the sound of wind in a primeval wood, and the sound of outer ocean on a beach.
