Hi Peter,
Good variety in the Nethermead/Three Arches bridge area this morning between 7:30-8:30. On the slope across center drive very near the bridge, Rusty Blackbirds were singing and chasing/being chased by Blue Jays. Higher up in the trees,I counted 5 Downy Woodpeckers, also chasing each other. On the ground, Robins, White-Throated Sparrows, Cardinals, and a pair of Towhees were foraging in the leaf litter.
Wood ducks continue at Upper/Lower Pool weir.
Best,
-Sean
