Despite the strong winds, overcast skies, and little rain; my visit this morning to PP was a complety surprise.
10 sps of warblers, 6 out of them seen in ±5 minutes in the Peninsula (between the "pink beach" & lampost J127).
Other notables were Great Crested Flycatcher, Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Scarlet Tanager, Baltimore Oriole, Chimney Swift, Northern Shoveler.
I spent 4 hrs, but the "hot spot" was the Peninsula.  The rest of the areas visited were so lacking of bird activity.
Also saw 2 raccoons in the Peninsula, sleeping.
