This morning , a good number of CEDAR WAXWINGS --young and old took over Three Sisters Islands. I could tell there was a good number thru the heavy leaf foliage as leaves moved and birds flew thru the trees and canopy. Several of them alighted on branches in front of me, these handsome birds making summer a delightful experience this day.
A SPOTTED SANDPIPER walked the shoreline opposite these island, usual for the species seeking freshwater sites.A moment later , a DOUBLE CRESTED CORMORANT flew by.
