Fungus

Seen in Prospect today. Measures about ten inches wide. I don't know what this is unless someone does.


Followup Note: I posted the photo to the Facebook group Mushrooms and Fungi... and a reply from Charles Mc Govern identified the species as Dryad saddle. Also known as pheasant back  .There apparently are variations
