On Duck Island's northeast corner , seen from the rink plaza, an adult GREEN HERON perched on on water snag, very alert for fish or some other delicacy.
And the second heron at the back gate of the Lower Pool, I spotted a juvenile BLACK CROWNED NIGHT HERON also perched on a water snag.
