Subject: An amazing warbler day in Prospect Park, Brooklyn

Peter:
With nice weather, blue skies, and summer temperatures the walk I did today could not be better.

I started the walk from Grand Army Plaza, with a stop in Vale, continuing to the "Wood Chip Pile" area. From here to the Midwood, Ravine, Pools, and back home.

Warblers, I recorded 11 sps of them.  The sps are: American Redstart; Northern Parula; Black-throated Blue; Black-and-white; Ovenbird; Blue-winged; Prairie; Myrtle (Yellow-rumped); Worm-eating; Yellow; and Palm.

Another notable, was a single male Scarlet Tanager.

Brooklyn is great birding!!!:
