- Comments: "Rare, and requiring documentation to separate it from Willow Flycatcher. Fortunately, heard calling "pip" with regularity for a few minutes when I encountered it. One shoddy recording of the call, filled with cricket, cicada, and car sounds. Appeared more gray and round-headed than WIFL. Thin white eye ring, somewhat broken towards the front from some angles. Medium primary projection. Pics."
