- Comments: "Initially identified as a Nelson's, and I can easily see why: more orange below than the usual and, perhaps not coincidentally, much less contrast between orange of facial triangle and orange suffusing breast and sides--these were almost but not quite the same color on this bird. Foraging, or sitting, in the grass being quite cooperative and looking very lost, something like those Henslow's that pick a couple square feet of baseball field to sit down in for a couple of hours or more, as if everything is fine."

- Comments: "(Originally misidentified as a Nelson’s Sparrow) Orange with black streaking, big beak, short-tailed. With Rob Jett when he found it, refound by Michael Silber who has photos. It was raining so the bird hide in leaves on the ground and darted in and out of trees.
