A Red shouldered Hawk perched at north Nethermead in Prospect Park while nearby a Rusty Blackbird sauntered in the Ravine Ambergill creek.
At Brooklyn bridge park, several uncommon ducks were reported with drake northern pintail ,greater scaup at Pier 4 and hen Common GoldenEye near the Manhattan bridge.
The Freeze opens opportunities as ducks look for open water.
