A single HORNED LARK reported on the knoll southwest of the Lefrak Rink was reported yesterday, still present this morning feeding in open area surround by snow cover. The knoll or rise is before the rink adjoining south lake drive or straight in across the drive from the Parkside ocean avenue park entrance.
A really good rare sighting for the park..
"It is the life of the crystal, the architect of the flake, the fire of the frost, the soul of the sunbeam. This crisp winter air is full of it."
