Peter,
Slower day today with 55 species and 11 warblers but a good group. We had time to really work on age and sex of birds, warblers, sparrows and raptors in particular. I really tried to make the group work for the species ids and they didn't disappoint with Tim and Patty getting some very challenging fall warblers. We were also lucky enough to hear a raven which We really enjoyed.
Ok one more to go hoping for a big sparrow day next week.

- Comments: "Perched in small pine sapling by pond in native grassland area - clear view. Large, pinkish/grayish bill, some warm brown on wing, thin black mustache stripes setting off light throat (barely any yellow that I could see), chest/undersides generally light with very faint streaking."
