Prospect 1st of season fall PHILLY VIREO; Prospect reports inc BWWA

This morning at around 10 am , Abe Borker reported PHILADELPHIA VIREO near the Peninsula tip on the Lullwater side ( facing rink). Other birds seen in the vicinity were NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH, YELLOW WARBLER, WARBLING VIREO, AMERICAN REDSTART.

I was able to get more info from Abe on the location thru Facebook
( he's leaving for Chile and Antarctica today )

addendum: I took a quick run during my remaining lunch hour down to the Philly spot, did not succeed but saw my FoFall BLACK&WHITE WARBLER at the tip. Also a fledgling ( short undeveloped tail) YELLOW WARBLER at the tip as well as a female adult in midsection. On the way out when work beckoned, another BLACK&WHITE WARBLER ( both females) in the west Lullwater.

Hi Peter-
Besides other previously reported species saw my first Blue winged warbler on lullwater slope near crabapple trees (lookout hill side). Also saw juvenile thrush that might have been a wood thrush but hard to say since juv. in same area as blue winged - it was being chased by robins.
Also  northern waterthrush - ravine below waterfall; 3 black & white warblers; 2 redstarts- slope after nethermead arch and yellow warblers continuing on Lullwater. Two sets of balt. oriole families on lullwater this morning.
