It was very humid and warm with birding activity at its minimal.For us the best bird ,just past the upper Switchback trail head i spotted a drab Philadelphia vireo ( maybe yesterdays bird ). Butterfly Meadow had good action with numerous Goldfinches and an active hummingbird.One Blue winged warbler in the elm grove.
