Connecticut Warbler 4th day

Connecticut Warbler continues to haunt the eastern back shore of the Upper Pool towards the pools middle isthmus, as reported from twitter BBC kings birds

I presumed a number of birders saw the COWA bird including some n Sean Zimmers BBC walk.

Meanwhile I was leading a small group of the Boathouse birding group,Michele Dreger,Eni and Vinny,Neal among its members for a film shoot bird walk for PPA. It was very humid and warm with birding activity at its minimal. For us the best bird ,just past the upper Switchback trail head i spotted a drab Philadelphia vireo ( maybe yesterdays bird ). Butterfly Meadow had good action with numerous Goldfinches and an active hummingbird. One Blue winged warbler in the elm grove.

Storms coming through this afternoon, meaning a cold front and north wind. That means more birds Sunday than today. Get an early start.
