The two REDTHROATED LOONS continue their presence on top of a duck rich Prospect lake.
The waters along the west shore of Peninsula thumb was the hot zone where the loons resided. Also seen there: Red breasted Merganser,Ring necked Ducks and Hooded MERGANSERS numbering 7.
The islands had their offerings. Three Sisters held in its strait 5 Wood Ducks at least.West island hid two more Drake Ring necked Ducks. All these birds illuminated by the bright sunshine which made birding much more comfortable.
