This is the last FULL week for the feeders that was set up last November. As soon as the remaining two seed feeders are done, they will be taken down. The same for the suet and thistle when its consumed. By next Monday, trees and habitat will be blooming and birds have to be on their way.
In other news, two of the three remaining RED THROATED LOONs were spotted near the Peninsula thumb. The Upper Pool just south of the Tennis House, harbored 7 RING NECKED DUCK now, 4 drakes, 3 hens; a good showing for that locale with this species yet not uncommon during this time of year.
