The Birdathon is getting close and this year is going to be very exciting. We have three teams formed already, but we want to encourage everyone to join! Additional good news, we have received a very generous matching fund pledge from friend of the BBC, Ms. Susan Scioli, so every dollar you raise will be matched!
If you can't get out to bird that day, please consider supporting one of our teams, or making a donation to the fund. The BBC does not have 501c3 tax exempt status so we are setting up a separate fund with the Prospect Park Alliance for the Tree Project.
Checks should be made out to the "Prospect Park Alliance" with a note in the memo area stipulating they are for "Brooklyn Bird Club Tree Project", or "BBC Tree Project".
