Indiscriminate spraying for mosquitoes is actually killing the beneficial insects , everything gets wiped out.. (just like fish and sharks getting caught in those massive nets)

I very highly recommend people read entomologist and nature writer Douglas Tallamys book "Natures Best Hope" which talks heavy about lawns and stupid mindless spraying as one of the problems devastating insect populations and bird decline . Tallamy has been talking about this for many years..  even in the latest National Geographice latest issue is devoted to worldwide insect decline
