- Comments: "Possibly same bird found (refound?) by Shane Blodgett yesterday. First seen in group of about 20 gulls south of pier near cranes. Bird then flew towards pier and landed briefly behind some cars. Was able to have nice views from car with binoculars until it landed. I grabbed my camera for photos but bird flew to cove north of pier where it seems that it was seen yesterday and then flew out to the north. Conditions were poor with blustery cold winds. However, bird was easy to pick out from crowd due to black terminal band and black-tipped ivory bill, seen very well as it flew to lot. I tried and failed to get photos diagnostic photos as it flew from the lot.  Beak looked smaller than ring-billed but hard to judge when it was by itself on lot. Other ID points checked out, however."
