- Comments: "*Rare, but not unexpected today given the habitat and the numbers of Common Redpolls in the region so far this fall and winter. Darkish streaky female/immature-type feeding in the dunes but flighty due to the wind. At one point was loosely hanging out in a motley of assemblage with one American Tree Sparrow and one Ipswich Sparrow.  Clearly a Common and not anything approaching the appearance of Hoary. Not seen on my way back a short time later, but could've hunkered down (or, I suppose, moved on). Photos, video."
