- Comments: "Continuing hen found by Andrew Baksh. Possibly a returning bird from last year. Clearly consorting with a male American Wigeon which it largely followed around. Much warmer ruddier tones to head and steeper forehead, in direct comparison with hen American Wigeons present on the scene. Warm tones of head essentially concolor with sides of bird. Distant photos below, last photo has Iceland Gull in foreground with Eurasian Wigeon just to the left. Spending most of its time in the weird tidal pool along the shoreline extending north from the base of the pier, at times also ranging out along the rocks on the food distribution pier (essentially the extension of 56th St.)"
