- Comments: "Rare here and at best infrequent any time in Brooklyn. Found yesterday I believe by Dennis H. and continuing over the lake with many barn, at least one bank, and a handful of tree swallows. Blue above, but duller than barn swallow--without the glistening blue of that species. Bird smaller than barn swallows, with a buff/peach rump and a much shorter tail than barn, with no streamers. The only swallow remotely likely to be seen here with a contrasting rump. In the unlikely event that my attempts to take distant photos of this single always-on-the-wing swallow show these fieldmarks, will add."
