- Comments: "In flight westbound low over the lake.  Its buffy brown and white striped belly and dark wingtips contrasting with brown on rest of the dorsal side stood out immediately, along with its feet extended straight back beyond the body.  Some of these features are visible in the handful of blurry photos I was able to get just before it went out of view.  (For those inclined to search for it, I saw it near Duck Island headed in the direction of Three Sisters/Hammerhead/West Island)."
