Today's hi light is a good one : Yellow Breasted Chat.This typical skulker revealed itself in two different locations, at times cooperative to birders
The first early report occurred at the Vale of Cashmere north end reported by our great birder Forrest.
Then very shortly after ,a second chat was reported at Butterfly Meadow - the lower meadow being restored on Lookout Hill. This bird was more stealth but eventually cooperated well , moving among the pokeweed .
I love to see the chat, but maybe I'll get lucky on my upcoming trip to hawk mountain.
