Hi lights : A number of Canada Warblers ,Wilson's, great eye level looks at two BLACKBURNIAN WARBLERS ,cooperative BAYBREASTED WARBLERS atop Lookout hill,s northwest corner, and the last good bird of the day a PROTHONOTARY WARBLER ( reported by Adam Welz, likely same bird seen earlier on the Peninsula by Tim Simkins ) seen at the back view Upper Pool, before it descended into a cluster of Arrow Arum for a few minutes,then flying to the island where we also spotted the WOOD DUCK family. YELLOW BILLED CUCKOO at the Butterfly Meadow elm grove.
The other very good bird,moderately rare for Prospect, flyover 2 SNOWY EGRETs Butterfly Meadow along with later COMMON LOON going south (??? What goes?)
Hatch out areas good for birds chasing bugs: chip trail across from top Maryland monument stairs, path from base Maryland Mt towards Nethermead,1/3 way down.
